Exit codes are codes indicating the reasons of employment contract terminations of the employees in the SSI system.
Why Does the Exit Code Matter?
Correct determination of SSI exit codes is very important for both employer and employee rights and obligations. These codes determine which rights employees will have or will not have after termination, as well as explaining who terminated the employment contract and why. As known, employees’ severance pay, notice pay and unemployment benefits are determined according to the exit codes. Therefore, it is very important for the employer to notify the company of the termination codes correctly.
