Labor Law no 4857 article 25/2 defines principles of termination of employment contract by the employer without paying compensation or having to observe the specified notice periods. According to clause (g) of the related paragraph, if, without the employer’s permission or a good reason, the employee is absent from work for two consecutive days, or twice in one month on the working day following a rest day or on three working days in any month, the employer can break the contract without paying compensation or giving notice.
