While the preparations for merging of withholding tax returns and social security declarations were almost completed, the emerging Covid-19 epidemic directly affected the business life in our country, as well as in the rest of the world, and resulted in many unprecedented problems and need for new regulations. Under these circumstances, merging of withholding tax returns and social security declarations was once again postponed.
The regulation was published in the Official Gazette on April 4: According to “Concise and Premium Service Charter General Communiqué (Sequence No. 1) in the Communiqué Amending (Sequence No. 8)”, merging of withholding tax returns and social security declarations is postponed to be carried out throughout Turkey as of 1 July 2020.
Pilot provinces that have already declared withholding tax returns and social security together will continue submitting their declarations from the new screen.
