In businesses, payments to interns, apprentices, candidate apprentices, journeymen, and students undergoing vocational training include the minimum threshold determined in relation to the minimum wage. These amounts are updated at the beginning of each calendar year and have been redefined in 2024 with the increase in the minimum wage.
Conditions for the minimum payment and government support to interns are as follows:

- In workplaces with 20 or more employees, interns’ pay should be at least 30% of the net amount of the minimum wage,
- For those undergoing vocational training in the status of apprentices and candidate apprentices, at least 30% of the net amount of the minimum wage,
- For vocational training center 12th-grade students who have achieved journeyman competence, at least 50% of the net amount of
the minimum wage should be paid.
