According to the announcement made through the Circular on Financial and Social Rights by the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, the severance pay ceiling has also been declared with the determination of the civil servant salary coefficients.
While severance pay is calculated based on an employee’s continuous additional earnings, the maximum amount considered for these earnings is accepted as the retirement bonus ceiling for civil servants. If an employee’s earnings exceed this ceiling, the severance pay calculation is made based on the determined ceiling.
The amount to be taken as the ceiling for severance pay calculations for employees whose termination procedures will be carried out as of January 2026 has been announced as 64,948.77 TRY.
